This policy describes how GGmarket ("we," "us," or "the platform") handles personal information and account data across marketplace features, including detailed handling practices for account creation, payments, safety investigations, and legal compliance.
This policy applies to information collected through the GGmarket website and related applications, APIs, and support channels. It does not govern third-party sites linked from our service; their privacy practices are described in their own policies.
2.1 You provide directly
2.2 Collected automatically
2.3 Data from third parties
We use personal information to:
Where required by law (for example under the GDPR), we rely on appropriate legal bases such as performance of a contract, legitimate interests balanced against your rights, or consent where we expressly ask for it.
Where consent is required, you may withdraw it at any time, but withdrawal does not affect processing already completed. Some services may not function without essential processing needed for account security, payments, or legal obligations.
We retain information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Backup copies may persist for a limited period. Aggregated or de-identified data may be retained longer.
We implement administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we encourage strong passwords, two-factor authentication where available, and prompt reporting of suspected unauthorized access.
If you access the service from outside the country where our systems operate, information may be transferred to and processed in other jurisdictions. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses in addition to technical and organizational measures.
Transfer safeguards may include contractual commitments, transfer impact assessments, and supplementary security controls tailored to data sensitivity and recipient environment.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent where processing is consent-based; and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. You may also have rights to opt out of certain uses under U.S. state privacy laws. Submit requests through the contact channels on our Contact page; we will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.
To protect account security, we may verify your identity before processing requests and may deny requests that are manifestly unfounded, excessive, or legally exempt.
The marketplace is not directed at children under the age required in your jurisdiction to enter into contracts (often 13 or 16–18 with parental consent). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law.
If you believe a child has provided personal information unlawfully, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate deletion or restriction measures.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised version with a new "Last updated" date and, where changes are material, provide additional notice as required by law (for example by email or in-product banner).
Material updates may include changes to data categories, legal bases, sharing practices, transfer mechanisms, or rights handling processes.
For privacy-related questions or requests, use the options listed on our Contact page.
